RUMAH JUARA - Home for Underprivileged Children

Juara stands for victory - victory in every endeavor through Jesus’ love

Established as a non-profit home in January 1998, the centre gradually expanded. On 7th June 1999, Juara 2 was set up to meet the growing needs of the children ranging in age from 3 - 16 years old. Both centres provide shelter to orphaned, abandoned and abused children from destitute and broken family environment. The home is registered with Majlis Perbandaran Petaling Jaya and Majlis Kebajikan & Pembangunan Masyarakat Negeri Selangor.

Many girls and children in Thailand today are living an unimaginable reality – they have been sold into prostitution to pay off family debts. They are being used and abused day in and day out to pay off debts owed by their families. Girls and children are sold into prostitution to provide the money needed to support their families.

Baan San Fan Orphanage - Thailand

The children who live here come from many different backgrounds - some have lost their parents after the devastating tsunami of December 2004; others have been abandoned; and a group of children have been taken in rather than left at risk from the drugs industry on the Burma border in northern Thailand.
