Hi and welcome,

This latest trip is very meaningful to us as we´ve spoken about doing something like this before we got married in Feb 2006, but we didn´t envisage taking our bicycles with us and cycling certain stretches – so exciting!

Although we love travel, we have never bought a round the world ticket before, and so our adventure begins… We are excited about exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, meeting people and making new friends and above all, sharing Gods word. We are so grateful for the wonderful opportunity God has given us to do this and pray that as we travel His name will be glorified.

We have been praying earnestly for some direction as to how the Lord sees fit for us to serve Him. Whilst reading the book of James, chapter 1 verse 27 really spoke to our hearts:
“The Christian who is pure and without fault, from God the Father´s point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows, and remains true to the Lord – not being soiled and dirtied by his contacts with the world.”

This was a true answer to prayer, as now we have a backbone to work from. We have since been contacting various orphanages, and our work continues…..
